I bought the Toshi Dynadock U3.0 with a new Toshiba laptop runningon Winows 8. I got the message that the driver is incompatible and to go to displaylink to download proper driver. I cannot find a driver that is so labeled. Please provide the link or further instructions.

Yes, I think this will work. You could run one through DisplayLink and the other through the built-in graphics too. As for touch, there’s no back-channel on DisplayLink solutions yet. Wigig or Thuderbolt would be the interface to use for that, assuming there was a solution out there.

I am planning on running 2 low res screens (800×480) to run streaming video on both possibly at same time any idea if this would be fine with the lower resolution. Also anyone try a touchscreen over this unit?

Ok, to be fair after I have installed the newest displaylink driver (7.0 M2) it works finally fine!
Out of the box with the driver on the CD it was useless.

I’ve just bought a new Toshi Z930 Notebook and the dynadock U3.0. It’s not working properly at all! Neither via DVI nor HDMI the video output is displayed smoothly. Permanent frozen screen and latency problems… completely useless!

is the Gigabit Ethernet over the Dynadock really Gigabit? Or just a little bit faster as Fast Eth? Can someone make a short performance test?
