The HP envy 4t-1000 sleekbook is currently available and it has an intel core i3-2367m. It doesn’t have to have an AMD processor to be a sleekbook. In the customization area under the Hard Drive Acceleration Cache it states:

32GB mSSD Hard Drive Acceleration Cache
Select this Solid State cache to upgrade the ENVY 4t to an Ultrabook (TM). Supports Intel Rapid Start Technology for quick resume from power off and Intel Smart Response Technology for fast access to files.

So it is a sleekbook to start and adding the 32GB mSSD upgrades it to an ultrabook. The current article on HP’s new lineup isn’t completely accurate pertaining to the sleekbook designation.

    Hello Chippy,

Just a small notification, your contact form doesn’t seem to work.

Anyway, it appears the Toshiba z930 is in stores now (since July 21 in Holland)

Here is a list of prices:

I’ve been waiting to get one of these, hope to see a review or update about this thing soon!

    Greetings

We’ve had a few reports about the contact form not working and yet every time we test it, it works. Can you tell us a bit more about the problem? Chippy.

I wish you’d review the ASUS UX31A. It’s been out for a couple of months. I want to know about keyboard, trackpad, screen and battery.

    Thanks!

    Hey Chippy,
Great site; great info; great reviews!…thanks for keeping all of us up to speed on the latest and greatest Ultrabook news.(Contact form still doesn’t work at our end)

Have seen a few spots on the new Vizio Thin+Light 14″ and 15.6″ products (listed in your new, popular ultrabooks), but no down and dirty, hands-on reviews; seems like Vizio get’s it when it comes to screen size and resolution, but what about the quality/performance of the rest of the product…Any way you could get your hands on one and let us know what you think? Oh, one other thing, I really like it when you show upgrade features (e.g. RAM/Drive access panels or not). This info is really helpful to those of us who view the ability to extend the life of our machines thru drive/RAM/WiFi upgrades, etc. as a buying factor

    Hi,

I really like the ultrabook buying advisor.
But it says “Release 1.1 25 April 2012″. Does this mean that all ultrabooks after this date are not considered?

    Best,
    Chris

    Hi there,

Here’s some pictures of a new Acer ultrabook, the M5-538P.

No details are known about the notebook yet.

is there another way to charge a Samsung ultrabook if you forget your charger? i.e. is it possible to charge through one of the USB ports?
    Thanks (it’s a long shot I know…)
    Roger
