Overview

A completely new cdesign in convertible tablet / laptops. Instead of a new style of hinge, ASUS have simply put two screens on the TaiChi. This is running Windows 8 with an Ultrabook core. Clearly it's not going to be available until later this year. We're adding news items, videos and specifications to this page as it develops. Check back regularly.

	Dell XPS 12 Convertible, 12.5", 1520gm From a design perspective the XPS Duo 12 is certainly a stylish alternative to a slider or dockable tablet but we are concerned about the weight of the device in tablet mode. Pricing is also quite high but that may not deter those looking for a stylish option. 47Wh battery is not the largest in this weight category.	Datasheet News

	Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 13, 13.3", 1530gm The Lenovo Ideapad Yoga is a convertible touchscreen Ultrabook. The design allows the screen to be tilted all the way onto the back of the device. At 1.5KG it won't be a lightweight tablet but it can be used in 'easel' mode and of course, has all the touch capabilities available when used as a normal laptop. A 1600x900 IPS screen adds to the high-end specs. An 11" version is available (Yoga 11S from March 2013) with Core CPU. A Windows RT 11" version is also available.	Datasheet News
