ASUS Zenbook NX500 uber-Ultrabook gets early review.

When ASUS launched the Zenbook NX500 at Computex earlier this year it had one of the most impressive specifications lists to date. An Intel Core  i7-4702HQ  with Turbo Boost Up to 3.2GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850 are the processors that power the 15.6-inch 4K IPS screen. There’s a huge 96Wh battery AC WiFi and a lot more. Cyberpower Zeuss Hercules takes it up a notch above the Ultrabook

We’re expecting about 20% graphics performance improvement on the Intel Iris graphics (e.g. Zenbook Infinity) over the HD 5000 graphics seen in some Ultrabooks but what if that isn’t enough for you? The Cyberpower Zeuss Hercules offers Intel Iris Pro graphics (HD 5200) with a full-HD display in a 1.9KG package. It looks very Ultrabook-like but could have the grunt to take it into high quality gaming territory. Students, take note!

XPS 13 Ultrabook Exceeding Sales Expectations, Dell May Release Alienware Gaming Ultrabook

Dell seems to have found out that when you make a slim, powerful, and well-built computer, it sells! As is the case with the company’s XPS 13 Ultrabook which is currently has a month long shipping delay due to overwhelming demand, according to Dell.com. This demand will almost definitely lead to more Ultrabooks in the future from Dell, and possibly to a gaming Ultrabook from Dell’s Alienware gaming brand.

Let the Gaming begin! Using the Ultrabook branding, Samsung have officially announced two interesting Ultrabooks that extend the category in a number of directions. The Samsung Series 5 Ultrabooks will offer a larger screen option, terabyte storage and AMD HD7550M discreet graphics in some models.
